- Please visit the Important Dates page to keep abreast of the timelines of each phase of TGMC 2011. This page will be updated as the contest phases proceed, so check back often.
Please keep in mind that your TGMC 2011 project will not be recognized as valid if IBM Software is not used.
For coding:
- Do use - Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), Rational Software Architecture.
- Do not use - Any commercial Eclipse Version and other Java IDEs.
For Application server:
- Do use - WebSphere® Application Server Community Edition and WebSphere® Application Server.
- Do not use - Any non-IBM server (Tomcat, Weblogic, and so forth).
For database:
- Do use - IBM database server (DB2®), Cloudscape, Derby.
- Do not use - Any non-IBM databases (Oracle, MS Access, and so forth).
For designing:
Participation certificates will be given only if the above criteria are met.
